  • Can I change the retrieval direction (right hand/left hand)?
    Yes, you can change it at any time with a few simple operations with a small screwdriver that we provide. Please refer to the User Guide for further details.
  • Can I use my reel in salt water?
    Yes, Correntoso Toro and Toro Classic models can be used in salt water. Please refer to the “Maintenance” section of your User Guide Product for recommendations.
  • What is the EDS?
    EDS (Expanded Drag System) consists of a cylindrical ring that expands or contracts in order to adjust the drag power according to the angler’s requirements. Internal drag forces align with the reel structure on a friction surface that is at least two times larger than that of other similar market products. Given the fact that the system is directly mounted on the reel chassis, the self-supporting structure eliminates the need for a central shaft and, consequently, all related resistance issues. In adition, the self-supporting structure and the EDS system makes the reel perfect for demanding fishing conditions.
  • Which are the features of Correntoso's reels?
    Correntoso reels are manufactured with top quality materials, using high-precision numerical control processes. The finishing and assembly process is hand-made in order to guarantee the product's high quality. Its innovative EDS drag system is mounted on a self-supporting structure, without shaft (hubless fly reel), and provides the product with high resistance and excellent functionality features.

  • Where and how are reels manufactured?
    Reels are designed entirely in Argentina and are produced in China under strict quality standards, using top international quality raw materials. Correntoso reels are finished, assembled and packed by experts. These processes guarantee product quality control, because each part is checked with extreme care.
  • Do the products have a warranty?
    Yes, reels and spools have a limited lifetime warranty, please read the terms of our warranty in the warranty web page or clicking here.
  • How do I activate my warranty?
    In order to activate the warranty, register your product as soon as possible here. Please visit the warranty page for the terms and scope of the warranty service or for using it.
  • Where is the reel serial number located?
    Serial numbers are engraved on the internal wall frame, look for it here.
  • Can I send the reel back to you to be re-anodized?
    The anodizing process is carried out after tooling and polishing reel parts. In order to be re-anodized, the reel would have to undergo an abrasive cleaning process that would damage its surface and structure, thus reducing its resistance. Therefore, reels shall not be re-anodized. Consider any possible scratches your reel may accumulate as evidence of unforgettable fishing and adventure experiences in nature.

  • What is your return and change policy?
    Please, read our change and returns policy carefully. Do not hesitate to ask us any questions. Returns or changes can only be made if the item was purchased on the Correntoso website ( Products from distributors or retailers will not be accepted for returns or changes, each retailer has its own return/change policy. All products that wish to be returned or changed must be unused and in its original box in perfect conditions. The product must be new, without showing signs of use to be eligible for a refund, merchandise credit or change. A document or order email must accompany all returns or changes with contact information (full name, phone number, email and real address). Your return will be processed as soon as possible. When requesting a change, we can not guarantee that the replacement item you wish to receive will be available at the time your request is processed. We recommend that you simply return the item you wish to change, and place a new order for the replacement item on our website. Always check before requesting the change to check availability or evacuate questions to Shipping and handling fees, including those for returning items, are not refundable.
