After each use, remove spool or cassette (model can be diferent) and rinse the reel and its pieces with abundant fresh water. Be sure to eliminate sand or any other particle or impurities.

Dry and store in its original bag or in any other appropiate case.

We recommend that a thin coat of graphite based lubricant be applied to the shaft.

We also recommend that a heavy graphite base grease be applied to the spool o’ring.

Do not use oil-based lubricants since they may damage the cork.
